Join Abi Silver, Heather Critchlow and Philip Cox as they talk about their series of crime novels and how they create their devious plots and their dogged investigators.

Abi Silver is the author of the Burton & Lamb novels, featuring lawyer sleuths Judith Burton and Constance Lamb. A lawyer by profession, Abi knows how to create a gripping and authentic trial scene. Heather Critchlow has drawn on her fascination with true-crime podcasts for her novels featuring podcaster Cal Lovett, investigating cold cases while also struggling with trauma from his past. In contrast, Philip Cox’s Detective Sam Leroy series is set in Los Angeles where crime is found as much in the homes of the wealthy as on the streets.
