Author Talk: Writing the Regency

with Jessie Lewis, bestselling writer of Austen-esque fiction

Enter the world of top hats, silk gowns and Assembly Room dances with Jessie Lewis, author of a highly successful series of novels set within Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice story. On Saturday 18th May at Hertford (the town which is, after all, reputed to be the ‘Meryton’ of Pride and Prejudice…) Jessie will be talking about her love of the Regency period and about her novels. She’ll also be introducing her new historical romance, due out in the autumn, and will have bookmarks available with QR codes for people to access a free download of The Prodigal – a short prequel to the new series.

So get yourself a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and enjoy some very civilised Regency society!
