Ally Aldridge
From the moment Ally could write, she wanted to be an author. She started off writing fanfiction based on the Orchard Tree, Magic Key series. As a teenager writing was her way of processing her feelings. However, English was always a subject she worked hard at but never felt good enough.
She was told being an author wasn’t a real job, so found work that paid the bills and wrote for fun. But, her dream wouldn’t go away. Her husband encouraged her to pursue publishing and she started querying. After a lot of ‘nos’ and ‘almosts’, she decided to look into self publishing.
Ally has loved the adventure of being in control of her book publishing. Ocean Heart was released during lockdown at the end of 2020, and Sky Heart is set for release in 2023. The Soul Heart series is a YA Fantasy Romance set in Ally’s hometown, Felixstowe, Suffolk.
Ally loves spending time with her family at the beach, in the forest, or watching way too much Netflix. Ally loves a cup of tea and has been known to order one on a night out.
