Elizabeth Barber – Herts Book Festival

Elizabeth has been a primary school teacher and a freelance writer for magazines and has
qualifications in creative writing. She now tutors creative writing at Letchworth Settlement.
Her first novel, Stone Arrows, is written for 8 to 12 year olds but can definitely be enjoyed by
adults. Set in neolithic times, 7000 BCE, Stone Arrows marries her love of teaching with her
interest in prehistory and fits in with the national curriculum KS2 History syllabus. Elizabeth is
now editing the sequel, Stone Warriors, which features the same characters in another adventure,
where she hopes to entertain and educate readers about the challenging lives of our ancestors.
