Jessie Lewis

Jessie is the author of several bestselling Austenesque novels – a whole genre dedicated to variations of Jane Austen’s works for readers who cannot get enough of her beloved characters. 

Jessie studied Philosophy and Literature at university, but it was Austen’s genius with words that inspired her to begin writing, and she’s had a whale of a time exploring Regency England in her own historical romance stories. She loves the English language and the art of storytelling and is rarely happier than when she’s wrangling with both to try and create something that might make people feel or laugh or think. She believes life is too short to be serious; sarcasm is her first language, and she is a great proponent of all things silly.
