Rachel Churcher

Rachel Churcher grew up in St Albans, and now lives in Suffolk with her husband,
houseplants, and an ever-growing book collection. She fell in love with space flight at the age
of five, after watching the launch of the first orbital Space Shuttle mission. She fell in love
with science fiction shortly after that, and in her teens discovered dystopian fiction. 

Her UK-based dystopian Battle Ground Series has won two international book awards, and
her new contemporary novel, Angels, is an LGBTQ+ coming-of-age story – with a twist.
She’s always happy to talk to readers about SF, politics, social justice, and the merits of
various fictional starships.
