Sarah Wragg

Ghost Walk is Sarah’s first solo collection which combines her love of poetry and the hair raising shivers you experience when reading good old fashioned ghost stories. She’s taken the feel of the Victorian ghost story and put it into the 21st century. Writing ghost stories as poems means you get straight to the shivers.

Sarah has lived and worked in Hertford for 20 years and is now working on a new collection of poems based on ghosts in Hertford and Ware. Some will be real, some imaginary… but they’ll all be a celebration of her hometown.
Sarah Wragg’s poems (haunted and non-ghostly) have been published in anthologies by Beautiful Dragons Press (My Dear Watson; Not A Drop; A Bee’s Breakfast; Noble Dissent; Watch The Birdie; Well, Dam!; Bloody Amazing, Lighting Out), Indigo Dreams (Mystery; The Spaces Between Us) and Dreich (Things That Go Bump in the Night). In other writing achievements, Sarah’s black comedy Delira made it to the finals of the 2020 Write Here! Write Now! Playwriting Festival held at Hertford Theatre. She is a frequent contributor to open mic nights with her pithy poetry and short stories. In the real world, she works as a copywriter.
