- 11.00am – 11.45am : Fairy Tara Flies In – A special storytelling for everyone who believes in magic!
- 11.00am – 12.00am: Who’d be an Opera Singer? Talk and Music at St Andrew’s – Author and opera singer Robert Little shares his insights into the dramatic world of opera. Event kindly hosted by St Andrew’s Church, St Andrew Street Hertford, SG14 1HZ.
- 12.00am – 12.45pm: Storytelling- Piers Shonks and the Dragon – Tales from the Hart perform their lively telling of the legend of East Herts’ very own dragonslayer, Piers Shonks. Suitable for all ages.
- 1.00pm – 1.45pm: Authors in Conversation- Voices from the Past – Authors Jane Dismore, whose new book tells the story of a pioneering woman explorer, and Paul Walker, author of the William Constable series of Tudor mysteries, discuss how they bring history to life.
- 2.00pm – 2.45pm: Author Panel-Where History Meets Legend– Christopher Hadley and Nick Jubber talk about their new books looking at the history and geography of monsters in folklore – from Hertfordshire dragons to Transylvanian vampires.
- 3.00pm – 4.00pm: Author Talk-A Rom-Com for Today – Up-and-coming author Taylor-Dior Rumble talks about her book ‘The Situationship’, a smart and funny rom-com that is published by Merky Books, an award-winning imprint launched in 2018 by Stormzy and Penguin Random House UK with a clear ambition to publish books that will own – and change – the mainstream. Taylor-Dior will be in conversation with Capital XTRA radio presenter Jojo Silva. Expect a lively and entertaining session from two people who are taking books into the future.
