If you’ve not been to our Book Festival previously, then get ready for a whirlwind of literary fun! Here’s a sneak peek at our lineup of events:
- Author Readings: Meet some of Hertfordshire’s authors as they read excerpts from their books. Get lost in the worlds they’ve created.
- Writing Workshops: Learn how to craft your own stories! Join workshops led by experienced writers who will share tips and tricks to ignite your imagination. There will be several for adults and one for kids too.
- Anymalympics: Join Josie Dom in a crazy session where you will explore animals, their traits and their favourite sports! You’ll hear extracts from Josie’s Animalympics story, but this isn’t your usual story-time, come prepared to get up and join in.
- Storytime Sessions: Gather around for enchanting story sessions filled with adventure, magic, and laughter. Perfect for little bookworms and their families!
- Panel Discussions: Engage in thought-provoking discussions on diverse topics ranging from fantasy worlds to real-life adventures. Ask questions and share your own ideas!
- Book Exchange: Bring your old books and swap them for something new! Explore different genres and discover hidden gems.
- Book Signing Events: Meet the authors in person and get your books signed! It’s a chance to connect with the creators behind your beloved stories.
- Interactive Storytelling: Step into the spotlight and become part of the story! Interactive storytelling sessions will spark your creativity and imagination.
